Barista

Bella is 20, Kyrgyz and Mexican, and the newest set of hands training under our master barista — one cup at a time, the old way. Her roots run through two cultures that take their drinks seriously: Kyrgyzstan, where milk tea is a daily ritual, and Mexico, where drinking chocolate was born — so Chai One and our Hot Chocolate aren't just menu items to her, they're familiar. Off the clock she paints, reads, decorates, and keeps a playlist going — and if the shop looks a little more put-together lately, that's her doing. The plan past the espresso machine is a long one: early-childhood education through AACC and on to UMBC, a kindergarten classroom, potentially a daycare of her own, and someday a gym/cafe business back in Kyrgyzstan. Big list. She's the type to finish it. Until then she's here — steaming milk, learning the craft, and making Coshé feel like somewhere you want to stay.
